Overview

Engineered a custom solution addressing a critical HLS playback crash in Firefox 149 (Mozilla Bug 2026875). Key logic and simulation features implemented: • Stall Simulation: Intercepted raw play events to simulate HLS decoder stutters, replicating NPR's Lecrae Tiny Desk Concert player issue. • Seek Reset Hook: Attached state-seeking triggers firing immediately post-ad resolution to reset MSE buffer queues. • Event Listeners: Linked fallback timers monitoring buffering periods to execute soft seeks when playback stall thresholds are reached.
